INALSA has launched the SteelChef DW5.5 Air Fryer in India, expanding its air fryer lineup after the Nutri Fry DuoSlim.
The new model uses stainless steel as the primary food-contact surface, aligning with the growing preference for durable cooking materials in Indian kitchens, and is designed for everyday family use with multi-function cooking and reduced-oil preparation.
The air fryer comes with a 5.5-litre capacity and is powered by a 1600W heating system. It supports eight cooking modes, including air frying, baking, grilling, and roasting. It also offers adjustable temperature control from 80°C to 200°C and a timer of up to 60 minutes for standard cooking flexibility.
A key element of the design is the SS304 food-grade stainless steel cooking pan along with stainless steel separators across all food-contact areas. The company positions this all-metal interior approach as more durable compared to coated baskets, especially under repeated heating cycles.
The appliance includes a viewing window for monitoring cooking progress without opening the basket and a touch-based control panel for selecting modes and adjusting settings.
