vivo X Fold6 to be introduced on June 26th

After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of the vivo X Fold6, the company’s next foldable smartphone, in China on June 26th. The company has confirmed that the phone will come in Blue, Salt Lake, and Polar Night colors.

The vivo X Fold6 aims to be the most powerful foldable imaging flagship and is also a foldable mini DSLR, says the company. It features a powerful 200MP true foldable sensor, the first foldable camera to use the Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto lens, and is equipped with the V3+ imaging chip. It supports the vivo Zeiss G2 teleconverter (equivalent to 200mm), Blueprint native colors, Blueprint color palette, and multiple color styles.

In addition, both the inner and outer screens of this device use the latest and most advanced generation of luminescent materials. Among them, the Samsung M14 luminescent material inner screen, which is the first to be used in a foldable device, has a higher peak brightness and lower power consumption.

The phone will be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor, which is touted as “a SoC specifically developed for large-screen foldable phones.” The peak performance of the NPU is 111% higher than the previous generation, and the power consumption is further optimized by 56%, doubling the computing power and halving the power consumption; it is also deeply adapted for the X Fold6’s large screen + AI functions.

vivo TWS 5 Pro

vivo will also introduce the TWS 5 Pro earphones alongside, featuring an independent Hi-Fi DAC chip, four-microphone deep-sea intelligent noise reduction, and a hybrid driver pure sound architecture.

We should know more details about the phone in the coming days and the price when it goes official next week.
