TECNO has introduced TECNO SPARK 50 Pro, the company’s latest 4G phone in the SPARK 50 series for the global markets. Positioned as a durable mid-range device designed for longevity, the new model introduces high-cycle battery configurations, robust environmental protection, and updated camera hardware to its SPARK lineup.
Dual Battery Configurations and Accelerated Charging
A primary focus of the SPARK 50 Pro is long-term operational efficiency. TECNO is offering the device in two distinct power configurations depending on market availability:
- A 5,600mAh dual-cell version
- A 6,000mAh single-cell version
According to internal laboratory testing, both battery models are rated to endure more than 1,900 charge cycles while maintaining over 80% of their original capacity. This lifecycle is projected to extend the functional life of the battery to approximately six years under standard usage conditions, reducing the frequency of hardware degradation.
The device supports 60W Super Charge technology, which can replenish the battery to 63% capacity within 30 minutes, achieving a full charge in roughly 55 minutes. Managing this input are three distinct software modes:
- Hyper Mode: Optimizes for maximum charging speed.
- Smart Mode: Balances heat dissipation with power intake.
- Low-Temperature Mode: Prioritizes thermal management to protect internal components.
Additionally, bypass charging functionality is integrated into the architecture. When the phone is plugged in during high-demand tasks like gaming or video streaming, power is routed directly to the motherboard rather than passing through the battery cells, minimizing heat generation and structural stress.

Under the hood, the SPARK 50 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate mobile processor, which yields an approximate benchmark score of 550,000 on AnTuTu. The camera software also supports Live Photo capabilities alongside algorithmic adjustments such as AI Eraser 2.0 (for removing unwanted background objects), AI Extender (for extending image composition frames), and Universal Tone technology for cross-demographic skin tone rendering.
Form Factor, Ingress Protection, and Connectivity
Despite the high-capacity battery options, the SPARK 50 Pro maintains a relatively slim form factor with a 7.8mm chassis thickness. The physical construction has been certified with a Swiss SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance rating.
Environmental sealing on the device meets both IP68 and IP69 standards. This ensures the internal components are guarded against complete dust ingress, prolonged submersion in water, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
The device’s peripheral features focus on standard daily productivity and data stability:
