Headphone Zone has launched the Snowsky DISC digital audio player in India. Developed by Snowsky, FiiO’s lifestyle-focused sub-brand, the device is designed for users seeking a dedicated music playback experience separate from smartphones and app-based distractions.
The Snowsky DISC features a circular full-view IPS color touchscreen inspired by portable CD players. The display supports album artwork and scrolling lyrics, while users can choose from multiple retro-style interface designs.
The player is housed in a slim aluminum alloy body and is powered by an Ingenic X2000 dual-core processor running a custom Linux-based operating system called Pure Audio OS.
For audio processing, the device uses dual Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips in a fully balanced architecture, with each DAC handling a separate channel. It offers both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, delivering up to 280mW + 280mW output power at 32 ohms.
The headphone amplifier section uses an independent power supply, and the player includes eight EQ presets along with multiple digital filter options for sound customization.
