Amazon India has expanded its Smartchoice feature to 10 consumer electronics categories, strengthening its AI-powered guided shopping experience. Alongside this expansion, the company has launched the Smartchoice Days sale, with deals of up to 60% off, No Cost EMI and bank offers, offering curated deals across multiple electronics segments.

How Smartchoice works

Smartchoice offers expert-curated, use-case-based recommendations across 30 usage segments, making it one of the most comprehensive guided shopping systems for electronics in India.

The system groups users based on real-world needs such as students, professionals, gamers, content creators and families. Instead of browsing hundreds of listings, users receive a short curated selection from the first click.

It is powered by AI tools and expert validation, combining Amazon’s recommendation system with Rufus AI assistant, Lens AI visual search, AI-generated review summaries and price history tracking.

The platform has seen strong adoption, with users spending 25 percent less time researching before purchase. Demand is strong for student laptops, AI-powered PCs and productivity tablets, while Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities account for around 65 percent of Smartchoice purchases.
