realme just launched the realme 16T, the company’s latest smartphone in the realme 16 series and the successor to last year’s realme 15T in India, as it had announced.
Touted under the tagline “All-Star Battery. Superstar Portraits,” this new device carves out a unique niche by blending industrial-grade durability and an unprecedented battery life with a sleek, ergonomic form factor.

It comes certified with an IP69 pro-level water resistance rating. This goes far beyond standard IP68 submersion, fully covering protection standards against extreme industrial-grade, high-pressure, and high-temperature 80°C water jets.
Furthermore, the phone utilizes an ArmorShell 4-Layer Drop Protection Structure. Featuring reinforced raised corners, an internal airbag cushioning design, a metallic mid-frame, and a reinforced metal structural drop frame, the device has officially passed the stringent MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance testing.
Design
The realme 16T 5G features the Gleaming Wings Design, layered with shimmering multi-colored particles that reveal dynamic, sand-gradient movements as light plays across the back pane.
