At its Innovative Product Launch, HUAWEI announced its new kids’ smartwatch lineup – WATCH Kids X1 and WATCH Kids X1 Pro – globally. Both smartwatches come in an interesting design language that’s kid-friendly and feature front & rear cameras for HD video calls and accurate dual-band satellite and GNSS positioning.
The HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 comes with all-new flippable and 360°
rotatable design and has a soft, breathable silicone strap. The Pro version, on the other hand, also offers similar design features, such as flip and rotation, along with the option to detach the watch and put it inside a camera case (included in the box) so that kids can use it to take some fun pictures.
Both smartwatches come with a 1.82″ wide AMOLED screen with pre-applied anti-sunlight screen protective film, along with a 5MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear-facing camera for photos and HD video calls facilitated via the dedicated FamCare app.
HUAWEI assures the accurate positioning of your kids, wherever they are, all thanks to dual-band GNSS positioning, dual-band Wi-Fi for indoor assistance, and cellular connectivity. The HUAWEI FamCare app, compatible with both Android and iOS, can help parents with
- Real-time Activity Status of their kids
- Set safe or dangerous zones on your phone and get instant alerts when kids enter or leave the areas
- Receive video calls from kids’ watch
- Parental controls: Set focus time, app limits, block calls, and more
There’s also an Emergency SOS button on the side of the watch, which can instantly send an SOS message or make a call by pressing it five times, with the help of cellular connectivity. The watch also includes health assistant features such as emotional well-being monitoring and heart rate tracking.
