POCO has confirmed the launch of C81 and C81X, the company’s next budget 4G smartphones in India on April 23rd as the successor to last year’s POCO C71.
The POCO C81 will pack a 6300mAh battery, 20% bigger than the 5200mAh battery in the POCO C71 while retaining the same ultra-slim profile. It promises 80% battery health even after 1000 charging cycles. It has a cold endurance mode offering specialized performance optimization in freezing conditions.
It will come with 15W fast charging support and 7.5W reverse wired charging. The teaser image confirms a 13MP rear camera for the phone. The phone is expected to get a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, UNISOC T7250 SoC, and Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
The POCO C81X will come with a 5200mAh battery while retaining a familiar design, 80% battery health even after 1000 charging cycles, 15W fast charging support, and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
