Vi announces 3-year partnership with Chennai Super Kings


Vi has officially announced a new partnership with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the upcoming cricket league season. The collaboration is positioned as a strategic brand initiative designed to deepen Vi’s cultural relevance, connect with cricket audiences, and leverage its connectivity to facilitate unique fan experiences.

As a visual component of this association, the Vi logo will be prominently featured on the leading leg of the CSK players’ uniforms.

Partnership Activations and Fan Engagement

As an official sponsor for the next three years, Vi plans to activate this partnership across multiple channels to bring CSK supporters and the broader cricket community together. The telecom operator intends to execute these initiatives through:

  • In-Stadium Touchpoints: Branding and physical activations at match venues.
  • Fan Experiences: On-ground activities designed to engage the cricket community.
  • Subscriber Benefits: Exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities, official signed merchandise, and access to match tickets specifically for Vi users.
Grassroots Cricket Development

Beyond brand visibility and fan engagement, the partnership includes a shared commitment to fostering grassroots cricket development. Vi will collaborate closely with the Super Kings Academy, a dedicated cricket coaching center established by the Chennai Super Kings franchise.

The Super Kings Academy Initiative: The academy focuses on identifying and supporting young cricketing talent, providing coaching and development opportunities for both boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 23. This joint initiative aims to provide aspiring players with a structured environment to thrive and grow within the sport.
