Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition, IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra / Slim 3i, Yoga Pro 7a / Legion 7a announced

At MWC 2026, Lenovo introduced new consumer devices for creators, gamers, and productivity users. The lineup includes the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (14”, 11), IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra (14”, 11), Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11), and Legion 7a (15”, 11), alongside updates to its commercial portfolio and the expansion of Lenovo Qira across devices.

Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (14”, 11)

The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition is designed for creators requiring a multifunctional drawing tablet, presentation device, and collaboration tool. It integrates Lenovo Aura Edition Smart Experiences to streamline workflows and features a 14-inch 2.8K PureSight Pro OLED touch display with up to 1100 nits peak brightness and 100% coverage of DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB color spaces.

The included Yoga Pen Gen 2 supports AES 3.0 for improved precision and lower latency. In Canvas Mode, the display slightly elevates when placed on a flat surface using the Yoga Pen Gen 2 case, which attaches magnetically to the A-cover. The convertible supports Canvas, Tablet, Tent, Stand, and traditional Laptop modes. The chassis features Yoga’s Comfort Edge design with rounded edges, comes in Cosmic Blue with mirror-finish sidewalls, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H standards.

Audio is handled by four speakers—two tweeters integrated into the 360-degree rotating hinge and two woofers at the bottom. Four microphones provide 360-degree voice pickup and Voice ID support. The device runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Windows 11 as a Copilot+ PC with AI optimization. Ports include two USB-C Thunderbolt 4, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and an audio combo jack. The device weighs 1.29kg and measures 15.29mm at its thinnest point.

Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11) and Legion 7a (15”, 11)

The Yoga Pro 7a is a Copilot+ PC powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Series processors with unified memory architecture, enabling the CPU and GPU to share up to 128GB RAM for AI-assisted creative workflows. It supports the Yoga Pen Gen 2 and includes a Force Pad powered by Wacom technology, which functions as an on-device drawing surface and disables touchpad input when the pen is active.

The laptop features a 15.3-inch 2.5K PureSight Pro OLED display. Audio includes four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers and four 3D noise-cancelling microphones with built-in Voice ID. Lenovo X Power thermal technology uses upgraded heat pipes and dual fans to support up to 95W TDP while keeping noise levels as low as 22dB. Lenovo Power Engine offers three modes: Extreme Power Boost, Adaptive Performance, and Extreme Low Power. Peripheral connectivity includes a pair of side-by-side full-function USB-C ports.

The Legion 7a is Lenovo Legion’s first gaming laptop with unified memory architecture. It uses AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Series processors with integrated Radeon graphics cores, removing the need for a discrete GPU while maintaining performance and efficiency when unplugged. Lenovo AI Engine+ manages performance, thermals, and efficiency in real time. The device features a 15.3-inch PureSight OLED display and an ultra-slim Nebula-colored aluminum chassis weighing 1.65kg.

IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra (14”, 11) and IdeaPad Slim 3i (17”, 11)

The IdeaPad Slim 5i Ultra combines Intel Core Ultra processors with a thin, all-metal design. Display options include WUXGA OLED or WQXGA IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. The 65Wh battery supports up to approximately 20 hours of video playback, and Rapid Charge Boost provides up to 2 hours of usage with a 15-minute charge. The device offers fast wireless connectivity and three USB-C ports.

The chassis measures as thin as 11.9mm and starts at 1.15kg. Built-in AI acceleration and integrated Copilot+ features assist with content creation and organisation. An FHD IR camera enables facial recognition for secure sign-in, and a physical camera privacy shutter blocks the lens when not in use.

The IdeaPad Slim 3i features a 17-inch FHD display, Dolby Audio speakers, and a long-lasting battery with Rapid Charge Boost, suitable for studying, streaming, and multitasking.
