iQOO just launched the iQOO 15R, the company’s latest smartphone in the iQOO 15 series in India, as it had promised.
Display and Design
The phone features 6.59-inch 2750×1260 OLED flat screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 5000 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. It supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and offers full-brightness DC-like dimming as an option. The phone boasts 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, a 300Hz ten-finger touch sampling rate, supports 1 billion colors, and features Schott Shield glass.
Design-wise, the phone will be available in two color variants: the Dark Knight with a matte black finish and the Triumph Silver in white with patterns on the back, exclusive to India.
Software, and Performance
The iQOO 15R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. It will get 4 Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC with optimizations by working with Qualcomm, and claims over 3.5 million points on AnTuTu 11. The gaming chip Q2 offers 1.5K gaming quality + 144 FPS gaming concurrently. The iQOO 15R supports up to 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The iQOO 15R packs 6500mm IceCore VC cooling. There is also Dual-Layer Graphite Sheet, 2000 W/m.K Thermal Conductivity and over 14000 mm² Thermal Conductivity Area. All these can reduce the temperature by up to 15°C in just 10 minutes. The phone also has network enhancement chip for 5% boost in cellular signal, and 12% boost in signal in elevator.
Camera
The iQOO 15R has a 50-megapixel 1/1.56″ Sony LYT-700V sensor for the main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Paired with NICE algorithms and large-scale image quality enhancement technology, the camera delivers a truly cinematic experience, said the company. There are Live Photos, AI visual effects, and more.
Battery
Powering the device is a 7600 mAh battery with fourth-generation silicon anode technology and second-generation semi-solid-state battery technology, durable in both low and high temperatures, supported by 100W FlashCharge that can charge up to 50% in 33 minutes. It also supports PD charging.

The iQOO 15R is priced at Rs. 44,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 47,999, and the top-end 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 52,999.
The phone will be available from Amazon.in, iQOO.com, and offline stores, starting from March 3rd for everyone and from March 2nd for those who had pre-booked the phone from today, February 24th, starting from 1PM.
