
Infinix launched the Infinix NOTE EDGE 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in the new Edge series in India today. Here we have the unboxing and the first impressions of the smartphone.

The phone has a 6.78-inch (2436×1080 pixels) 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The screen is bright since it has up to 4500 nits peak brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i Protection.
There is a 13MP front camera inside the tiny notch, and the phone supports up to 2K 30 fps video recording. The earpiece is present on the top edge that doubles up as a secondary speaker. It supports Sound by JBL tuning. There is a small bezel below the screen. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone runs Android 16 with XOS 16 on top, and the company has promised 3 major Android updates (up to XOS 19) and 5 years of security patches. XOS 16 brings
Under the hood, the Infinix NOTE EDGE 5G is powered by the latest Dimensity 7100 chipset, making it one of the first phones in India with the chipset. It has support for several 5G bands and has up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It also doesn’t miss out on NFC, which you rarely see in the phones in this price range.
Coming to button placements, the power button is present on the right along with volume rockers. You can also see the customizable shortcut key in green color on the right. The dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top along with the IR blaster, and you can also see the speaker vent.
The phone is just 7.2mm thick and weighs 190g. Even with a sleek design and lightweight body, it packs a 6500mAh battery and also comes with 45W fast charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and also supports bypass charging.

The phone has dual rear cameras that include a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP secondary depth sensor. It supports 2K video recording at 3030 fpsrom the rear camera.

The phone has an RGB Halo Light on the back in the camera deco that illuminates dynamically to respond to calls, notifications, and even user moods. The back has a smooth matte finish yet offers a good grip.
It also comes in Stellar Blue colour, and the Silk Green variant utilizes a polyurethane process to mimic a brushed, leather-like texture. There is IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Infinix NOTE Edge 5G is priced starting at Rs. 21,999, and with the launch offer, the effective starting price is Rs. 19,999. It will be available from Flipkart and the Infinix India online store starting from February 25th.
