
HONOR just introduced the HONOR Magic8 Pro Air, the company’s latest smartphone in the Magic8 series in China, as it had promised. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC.
It is the lightest flagship phone at 155g and is just 6.1mm thick. The new phone features a 6.31-inch OLED display with a 1.08mm narrow bezel on all four sides. It has 6000 nits HDR peak brightness, 10 Honor Oasis eye protection features, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

It uses the same 7-coat, 7-baking light-sensing overlay coating process as luxury cars, resulting in a metallic satin finish, and is available in four colors: Fairy Purple, Light Orange, Feather White, and Shadow Black. The phone features a unibody aerospace-grade aluminum frame with a strength of 530MPa. There is IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and supports eSIM with seamless SIM & eSIM switching
In terms of imaging, the new phone features a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.3-inch ultra-large sensor, f/1.6 ultra-large aperture, CIPA 5.0 image stabilization), a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture, maximum 112° field of view), and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/2-inch ultra-large sensor, 3.2x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture, 100x digital zoom, CIPA 5.0 image stabilization).
In addition, the new phone features the first AI zoom array flash on Android, with a 5-array structure covering the entire portrait focal length range from 1x to 6.4x. Furthermore, it is the industry’s first to feature CCD strobe portrait mode and boasts the most comprehensive AI flash functionality.
The phone packs a 5500mAh silicon-carbon battery into a body only 6.1mm thick, boasting an energy density of 917Wh/L and supporting 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
