After teasers, realme has confirmed the launch of realme Neo8, the company’s next smartphone in the Neo series in China on January 22nd.

This week the company confirmed that this will be the world’s first smartphone to feature a 165Hz Samsung Sky Display, equipped with an M14 luminescent material offering native 165 FPS modes for games such as CrossFire: Mobile, Delta Force, and Peacekeeper Elite.

It will feature “Green Field Eye Protection” technology, which supports full-brightness DC dimming. The brightness and darkness alternate only once per frame, which is more eye-friendly than the PWM method of controlling brightness by quickly switching the light source on and off. The SVM is as low as 0.05, and it is said to be almost “flicker-free” at full brightness.
It also supports hardware-level low blue light eye protection, has passed TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certification, automatic color temperature adjustment function similar to True Tone display, which can automatically adjust the screen color temperature according to the ambient color temperature.

realme already confirmed the design of the phone with transparent RGB design, and the iconic awakening halo element that makes a comeback.
