
realme has started teasing the Neo8, the company’s next mid-range smartphone in the Neo series in China, as the successor to the Neo7 which was introduced back in December 2024.
realme has posted the first teaser image that shows the phone in Cyber Purple color option revealing a transparent RGB design, and the iconic awakening halo element that makes a comeback.
Chase Xu, CMO and Vice President of realme said that the Awakening Halo system with a transparent RGB design, instantly making it the center of attention when lit up. The metal frame and transparent glass body deliver a superior feel from materials to craftsmanship.

The realme Neo8 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, featuring the same flagship architecture and process as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, achieving a benchmark score of up to 3.58 million.
Based on earlier reports, the phone is said to pack a 6.78-inch 1.5K 165Hz LTPS OLED Samsung flat screen, 50MP periscope telephoto lens, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and a 8000mAh battery.
