HONOR has launched the Magic8 Lite globally, expanding the Magic8 lineup after the Magic8 Pro. The smartphone measures 161.9 × 76.1 × 7.76mm, weighs around 189g, and is offered in Reddish Brown, Forest Green, and Midnight Black. It uses aluminosilicate glass and is the first smartphone to receive SGS Triple-resistant Premium Performance certification, covering drop, water, and dust resistance.
The device is certified for 2.5m drop resistance, carries IPX8 and IPX9K water ratings, IP6X dust protection, and has passed the IEC 62262 impact resistance test. It also includes IP68 and IP69K-rated protection, a six-layer cushioning glass structure, one-tap dust and water ejection, rain-responsive touch input, and glove-friendly touch control.
The HONOR Magic8 Lite features a 6.79-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, up to 6000 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 1.3mm slim bezels. Eye-care features include 3840Hz PWM dimming, dynamic dimming, AI Circadian Night Display, hardware-based low blue light, and AI Defocus Display.
The camera system includes a 108MP main rear camera with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, up to 10x digital zoom, and a 16MP front camera. Imaging features include an underwater photo mode, 4K HD Moving Photo Collage creation, and AI tools such as AI Eraser, AI Face Tune, reflection removal, AI Cutout, and AI Upscale.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 (4nm) mobile platform and uses HONOR’s VC Ice Cooling System with a 3,490mm² stainless steel vapour chamber and a total cooling area of 29,500mm². It packs a 7500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supports 66W HONOR SuperCharge, reverse charging, and operation between –30°C and 55°C.
The phone runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and includes AI features such as Google Gemini live interaction, AI Writing Tools, and Magic Portal. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers with HONOR Sound 7.3, and NFC support is included. The phone is available in an 8GB + 512GB configuration globally, with an 8GB + 256GB variant depending on region.
