Amazon announced its biggest UI revamp to its Fire TV software, offering a more modern and personalized experience with AI-powered Alexa+. Alongside it, the company also unveiled its first Ember Artline, a 55″–65″ matte screen 4K QLED lifestyle TV.
Amazon Fire TV Redesign 2026

The redesigned Fire TV UI comes with improved layouts, rounded corners, redesigned color gradients, updated typography, and more optimized spacing. Fire TV’s new user interface is faster and more streamlined, with dedicated homes for each content type, says Amazon.
Amazon claims to have updated the underlying code of the software as well, offering up to 30% gains in speed when using the new UI. With the latest update, users will be able to pin up to 20 apps (up from just 6) on the home screen and can press the Menu button on their remote to quickly get to Games, Art & Photos, and the Ambient Experience.
Further, Amazon has added a shortcut panel, which can be accessed by long-pressing the Home button on the remote, to get quick access to the most-used controls on Fire TV, including audio and display settings, connected Ring cameras, and smart home device management.

AI-powered Alexa+ has also been deeply integrated into the software, allowing users to make natural-language queries, receive personalized recommendations, jump to their favorite scenes in a movie, generate background screensavers, and more.
Revamped Fire TV mobile app

The free Fire TV mobile app, which most users use as a backup remote to Fire TV, gets a redesign as well. The redesigned app adds the ability to browse content, manage your watchlist, and play titles on your TV, all with a look and feel that matches the new Fire TV design.
Amazon Ember Artline

Building on top of Ambient Experience, Amazon introduced the Ember Artline lifestyle TV. It’s a 55″–65″ matte screen 4K QLED TV, featuring support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Wi-Fi 6, and a thin 1.5-inch design. It can display 2,000+ pieces of free art, has an all-new Fire TV UI, and is integrated with Amazon Photos.
With Amazon Photos connected, users can also ask Alexa+ to help create slideshows of their photos by saying things like, “Alexa, create a slideshow of our family trip to Colorado” or “Alexa, show photos from our wedding.”

The Amazon Ember Artline comes with far-field microphones to talk with Alexa+, and Omnisense technology that automatically turns the Ambient Experience on and off when people enter or leave the room.

Customers will have the choice to pick one of 10 easily adjustable, magnetic frames to best fit their style. Colors include Walnut, Ash, Teak, Black Oak, Matte White, Midnight Blue, Fig, Pale Gold, Graphite, and Silver.
