Dell has brought back the XPS line at CES 2026 with the launch of the new XPS 14 (DA14260) and XPS 16 (DA16260), featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Intel Arc graphics, and ultra-thin designs. This marks the official return of the XPS branding after last year’s “Dell Premium” rebrand.
Dell will continue to retain its branding strategy with names such as Pro for office use, Pro Precision for high-performance workloads, Pro Rugged, Pro Essential, and more, each tailored to specific use cases and target audiences. The Dell XPS lineup is positioned as an everyday-use option for most consumers.

Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 unveiled
Designed for “life in motion,” the machines aim to deliver power without bulk, with ultra-thin profiles (starting weight is just 1.36kg) and a minimalist, CNC-milled aluminium chassis with Gorilla Glass 3, says the company. The new XPS 14 and 16 share the same clean, refined design language and seamless unibody construction, with the iconic XPS logo on the back.

Both laptops are powered by up to Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with configurations ranging from the Core Ultra 5 Processor 325 (8-core) to the Core Ultra X9 Processor 388H (16-core). The processor also includes AI Boost NPU (up to 50 TOPS, depending on the CPU) for on-device AI workloads.
For the GPU, Dell uses integrated Intel Arc graphics that promise up to 50% faster graphics than the previous generation, enabling smooth 1080p gaming and creator workloads without a dedicated GPU. The laptops can be configured with up to 64GB LPDDR5x-9600 RAM and up to 4TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD.
Display options include power‑efficient 2K LCD panels with a 1–120 Hz variable refresh rate or higher‑resolution 2.8K (XPS 14) and 3.2K (XPS 16) Tandem OLED touchscreens with 100% DCI‑P3 coverage, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, Dolby Vision, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection on OLED cover glass.

On thermals, Dell says its new thermal design uses the company’s largest and thinnest fans yet, with dual fans, a wider 8mm heat pipe, graphite sheets and Gore Aerogel insulation to keep the chassis up to 8 degrees cooler and 36% quieter than before.

The XPS 14 and XPS 16 pack a 70Wh battery. With the 2K LCD option, Dell claims up to 27 hours of video streaming and over 40 hours of local video playback, which it says is the longest battery life in this class of 14- and 16-inch laptops.
