iQOO 15 Ultra confirmed, expected in early February

iQOO stopped launching Pro models of its flagships for the last two years, and after the single iQOO 13 model as its flagship in 2024, and iQOO 15 in 2025, the company has now confirmed the launch of iQOO 15 Ultra, the company’s first Ultra series.

In China, the company says that the phone will launch before the Spring Festival, which starts on February 17th. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone is tentatively scheduled for early February.

Based on earlier reports, the phone is designed as a “productivity tool” for a specific group of people. This “specific group” is likely to be game streamers and other professionals in the gaming industry, so the iQOO 15 Ultra could be a gaming phone instead of a camera-centric model like other Ultra models from OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi.

Last month, the leaker hinted at a gaming phone with feature an upgraded active cooling fan and shoulder buttons, boasting a brand-new futuristic design and being the industry’s first performance Ultra. He added that the fan design is very powerful, likely the largest and most efficient in the industry, claiming to allow this generation of chips to unleash performance close to the next generation.

We should know more details about the iQOO 15 Ultra in the coming weeks.
