At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics introduced the R95H model, a 130-inch Micro RGB TV. This launch marks the debut of the company’s largest display utilizing Micro RGB technology and introduces updated design elements for its premium display segment.
Design and Form Factor
The R95H features a design concept Samsung refers to as the “Timeless Frame.” This is an evolution of the company’s “Timeless Gallery” design, originally introduced in 2013. The aesthetic is intended to resemble a large architectural window rather than a traditional television set, utilizing a floating screen effect within the borders.
The physical construction includes a substantial frame that serves a functional purpose beyond aesthetics; it houses the unit’s integrated audio system. Samsung states that the sound output has been balanced specifically to match the scale of the 130-inch screen, aiming to create a cohesive audio-visual experience.
Display Specifications and Performance
The R95H incorporates Samsung’s latest Micro RGB technology, supported by several new processing engines:
- Micro RGB AI Engine Pro & Color Booster Pro: These systems utilize artificial intelligence to manage tone and contrast, aiming to maintain detail in both bright and dark scenes.
- Micro RGB Precision Color 100: The display is rated to deliver 100% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut.
- VDE Certification: The panel has received certification from the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for color reproduction accuracy.
- Glare Free Technology: The screen employs proprietary anti-reflection technology designed to preserve contrast in various lighting environments.
Software and AI Integration
The 130-inch model supports the HDR10+ ADVANCED standard and Eclipsa Audio. In terms of software, the TV features Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, which facilitates conversational search and proactive content recommendations.
The operating system includes access to several AI-driven tools and third-party integrations, including: Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate and Generative Wallpaper
