After rumours, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V smartphones in the OnePlus Turbo series in China on January 8th. ‘Performance is exceptionally strong, and battery life is ridiculously long!,’ said the company.
The OnePlus Turbo 6 will come in Lone Black, Silver and Wilderness Green colours in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions. The Silver colour uses 3D holographic engraving technology, allowing light and shadow to flow with the angle.
During last night’s OnePlus Turbo series livestream, the company confirmed that the Turbo 6 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series flagship chip, BOE 165Hz Ultra-High Refresh Rate Eye-Care Screen, 9000mAh battery with support for 27W wired reverse charging function, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water protection.
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will pack a 6.78″ 1.5K 165Hz LTPS BOE OLED flat screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen4 SoC, Android 16 and weigh 217.25g.
The OnePlus Turbo 6V will come in Lone Black, Fearless Blue and Nova White colours in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB model. It is said to retain a similar screen and battery, but get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 instead.
The OnePlus Turbo 6V is rumoured to launch as OnePlus Nord CE6 in India next year, with a slight change in specifications.
