Facebook has introduced updates aimed at simplifying navigation, improving content visibility, and enhancing interactions on the platform. The changes cover Feed presentation, search results, profile updates, content creation, and comment management.
Smarter Feed and Navigation
The Feed now displays multiple photos in a standardized grid. Users can like photos by double-tapping and view content in full screen when clicked.

Frequently used features such as Reels, Friends, Marketplace, and Profile will appear prominently on the tab bar. Menu design and tab notifications have also been updated for clarity.

Search results are now displayed in an immersive grid layout that supports multiple content types. Facebook is testing a full-screen viewer to explore photo and video results without losing the search position. Users can provide feedback on posts or Reels to make the Feed more relevant.

Simplified Content Creation
Story and Feed post creation has been redesigned. Frequently used tools like adding music and tagging friends are more accessible. Advanced tools such as colorful text backgrounds remain available. Audience and cross-posting settings are clearly displayed.

The commenting system across Feed, Groups, and Reels has been updated to support streamlined replies, prominent badges, and pinning options. Group admins and creators have additional moderation controls. All users can now flag comments anonymously if content is irrelevant or inappropriate.

Profile Updates for Connections
Profile updates now assist users in discovering friends with similar interests. For example, adding hobbies or travel plans can highlight friends who offer advice or suggestions.
Profile sections include information about work, location, entertainment preferences, hobbies, and travel, with options to control visibility and share updates to the Feed.

Outlook
These updates aim to reduce clutter and simplify the user experience, allowing users to navigate the platform more efficiently and access relevant content and connections, the company said.
