Samsung TV Plus, India’s prominent free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service, has announced a significant expansion of its content library through a partnership with several leading global Creators. This collaboration introduces a slate of exclusive FAST channels to the service, accessible on Samsung Smart TVs.
Six new curated channels have launched in India, including the worldwide premier of the first-ever dedicated free ad-supported streaming TV channel from Mark Rober. With this addition, Samsung TV Plus now features over 160 channels, available to more than 14 million Samsung Smart TVs across the country.
Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer, inventor, and educator with over 71 million subscribers, is recognized as one of the most influential Creators globally. His channel is set to deliver his characteristic content blend of science, creativity, and enjoyment to television audiences.
This newest collection of Creator channels introduces diverse and genre-defying voices to the streaming platform. The launched channels include Michelle Khare’s Challenge Accepted, Epic Gardening TV, The Try Guys, Brave Wilderness, and The SorryGirlsTV.
This content deal is positioned as a component of Samsung TV Plus’s broader, global strategy to expand and define the future of television. The company aims to establish the service as a premier platform for world-class Creators and to redefine home entertainment on the biggest screen.
