BenQ announced the PD2770U, the company’s latest 27-inch 4K professional monitor. It’s the company’s first-ever monitor to feature a built-in color calibrator, meaning creators and small studios no longer need extra expensive devices to get perfectly accurate colors on their screens.
Designed for modern studios, post-production teams, and independent creators, the PD2770U makes true-to-life color accuracy and studio-wide consistency more accessible than ever before, says the company.
BenQ PD2770U 4K Professional Monitor: Features and Color Accuracy
The BenQ PD2770U is powered by the company’s own AQCOLOR Technology for Color Precision. This Built-in Calibration System, powered by Light-Adaptive Calibration, automatically fine-tunes color accuracy based on studio lighting conditions.

Further, the monitor covers 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec.709 color spaces, delivering vibrant, accurate, and consistent visuals for post-production, design, and broadcast workflows.
There’s also a Magnetic Shading Hood for distraction-free color evaluation and BenQ’s Nano Matte Panel on the display that diffuses ambient light to preserve color accuracy and contrast while reducing glare. Other features of the professional monitor include:

- With DMS Local, a single PC manages every monitor in your studio
- Hotkey Puck syncs with Display Pilot 2 for effortless monitor control.
- Certified Accuracy by Leading Third-Party Authorities: Pantone Validated, Pantone SkinTone Validated, and Calman Verified
- Connectivity: All-in-One USB-C for Mac and Windows (Thunderbolt 3/4) Compatibility, RJ45 Wired Connection
- Built-in KVM for seamless Mac and PC control
Software Add-Ons

BenQ offers two free software programs that go handy with this professional monitor—Display Pilot 2 and Display ColorTalk. Users can use the BenQ Display Pilot 2, which provides a customizable interface for organizing functions such as ICCsync, Application Mode, and Software Dimming, making design work more convenient and flexible.

Display ColorTalk, on the other hand, makes it easy to sync colors across monitors with just a few clicks. Further, users also get one year of free Pantone Connect Premium for digitally mobile color consistency and accuracy.

Pricing and Availability
The PD2770U will be available from November across leading Broadcast & Photography Retail Outlets, BenQ India’s Official website. Price will be revealed at the time of launch.
Regarding the announcement, Rajeev Singh, MD, BenQ India, said,
Until now, achieving professional-grade color accuracy required expensive hardware calibrators and time-consuming setup. With the PD2770U, we’ve built the calibration engine directly into the display — giving small studios and creators the same mastering-level color precision used by major production houses, in a single, accessible device.
