Portronics has launched Tune Plus, a wireless car adapter designed to convert wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems into a wireless setup. The device also comes with pre-installed entertainment applications, including YouTube and Netflix.
The primary function of the Tune Plus is to eliminate the need for a physical cable connection between a smartphone and a compatible vehicle’s infotainment system. According to the company, the adapter facilitates an automatic wireless connection once paired, allowing drivers to access CarPlay or Android Auto features as soon as the car is started.
A key feature of the Tune Plus is its built-in streaming capability. The device includes integrated versions of YouTube and Netflix, which can be accessed directly on the car’s display. This feature is intended for use when the vehicle is parked, providing an entertainment option for passengers or drivers during breaks.
