Apple introduced iPhone 17 series in an event few hours back. At the event, it also announced price cuts for iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus, and Apple India has also reduced the price of the models in the country.
As usual, the phones have received Rs. 10,000 price cut from the launch price, but the iPhone 16 is now available in 128GB model and the iPhone 16 Plus comes only in 128GB and 256GB models.
The iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max are not listed any more, since they are replaced by iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have also been discontinued.
Check out the change in price below.
| Model | Old MRP (INR) | New MRP (INR) |
| iPhone 16 128GB | 79,900 | 69,900 |
| iPhone 16 Plus 128GB | 89,900 | 79,900 |
| iPhone 16 Plus 256GB | 99,900 | 89,900 |
Even though Apple sets a standard MRP, some third-party retailers usually sell the smartphones at cheaper rates during sale, so you can get it online even cheaper.
This should get even cheaper during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale and Amazon Great Indian Festival sale that will start on September 23rd. So, if you are planning to get an iPhone, you should wait.
