Dolby Laboratories has introduced Dolby Vision 2, the next-generation upgrade in premium display technology, enhancing visuals across movies, TV, live sports, and gaming content.

Product Tiers
Dolby Vision 2 is available in two tiers, designed to cater to both premium and mainstream televisions.
- Dolby Vision 2 Max: Designed for high-end televisions, providing enhanced features to fully utilize premium display hardware.
- Dolby Vision 2: Available on standard TVs, delivering essential next-generation improvements powered by the updated image engine and AI-driven Content Intelligence.
Industry Adoption and Availability
Hisense will be the first brand to implement Dolby Vision 2 in its lineup, including RGB-MiniLED TVs, powered by the MediaTek Pentonic 800 chip with MiraVision™ Pro PQ Engine, the first chip to support Dolby Vision 2. CANAL+ has also confirmed support. Exact launch dates will be announced later, closer to the rollout.
