Cashify, a prominent re-commerce platform in India, has collaborated with Google to introduce certified refurbished Pixel smartphones to the Indian market. This partnership merges Google’s technology with Cashify’s platform and distribution network.
The collaboration is viewed as a development within India’s refurbished smartphone market, which is projected to reach a valuation of $10 billion by 2026, according to a Redseer report. Cashify has been designated as Google’s authorized partner for these devices.
Each refurbished Pixel phone is renewed using Google-authorized components and undergoes quality checks. Consumers who purchase these devices will receive a one-year warranty. The refurbished Pixel smartphones will be available for purchase on the Cashify app and website starting today, September 3, and at select Cashify retail locations.
The partnership aligns with an increasing consumer demand for sustainable and affordable technology. The collaboration also supports efforts to reduce electronic waste by extending the lifespan of devices, reflecting a broader industry trend toward circular economies.
