OnePlus has begun the worldwide rollout of Plus Mind, a new personal intelligence tool, for users of its OnePlus 13 Series devices – OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R.
Plus Mind is an AI-powered feature designed to assist users in managing the large volume of digital content encountered daily, aiming to ensure that information is not overlooked. The tool is intended to simplify the storage, organization, and retrieval of fragmented information through the integration of OnePlus AI.
How Plus Mind Works

Plus Mind was initially introduced on the OnePlus 13s, a compact flagship device released by OnePlus in June. While the OnePlus 13s utilizes a dedicated Plus Key to activate Plus Mind, on the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, the feature is activated with a simple swipe gesture. Users can send various types of information—including webpages, images, messages, and social media posts—to Plus Mind by performing an upward three-finger swipe on their screen. This gesture is described as the inverse of the traditional three-finger downward swipe for screenshots.
Upon swiping, Plus Mind is designed to analyze the captured content and suggest relevant actions, such as adding calendar events for dates identified within the content. The captured data is then made accessible to the user in their Mind Space, which is presented as a new application in the app list of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R.
Information within Mind Space can also be retrieved through natural language queries using the AI Search bar, accessible by swiping down on the home screen. Mind Space incorporates OnePlus AI technology to understand content, automatically generating descriptions, information, and tags for each piece. It also has the capability to translate text into the user’s native language.
For instance, if a user performs a three-finger swipe up on an event poster image, Plus Mind may automatically prompt them to add the event date to their calendar. Concurrently, the tool captures relevant data and stores it in the user’s Mind Space.
Similarly, a three-finger swipe on a fashion website could lead Plus Mind to analyze and summarize the displayed looks. Users can then revisit this information in their Mind Space later and return to the original webpage with a single tap.
Future of OnePlus AI
OnePlus announced its AI strategy earlier this year, stating a commitment to developing personalized intelligence for its users. This strategy was reportedly informed by conversations with OnePlus users globally, aiming to understand their perspectives on artificial intelligence.
These interactions are said to have provided OnePlus with insights that have guided its focus on creating phones that “truly understand” users and support both productivity and leisure. As part of this broader strategy, OnePlus has already launched various AI features in different regions and is continuing to develop more. These include:
- AI VoiceScribe: A feature that enables users to record, summarize, and translate calls and meetings directly within popular messaging, video, and online meeting applications (currently available only in India).
- AI Translation: This consolidates all translation capabilities—including text, live voice, camera-based, and screen translation—into a single application.
- AI Search: Allows for conversational, natural language queries to search local files, settings, notes, and calendars for relevant results. This feature is integrated with Plus Mind to enhance productivity.
- AI Reframe: Analyzes photo scenes, identifies subjects, and adjusts composition to generate multiple framing options.
- AI Perfect Shot: Designed to improve group photos by correcting blinks or substituting facial expressions for up to twenty people.
Plus Mind is available as part of the latest software update for the OnePlus 13 Series. This update commenced its rollout today, July 14, 2025, and is expected to reach all OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R phones in the coming weeks.
