vivo X300 series that it expected to be introduced later this year should be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. Now, according to leaker Digital Chat Station, the X300 series phones will get a 200MP 1/1.4″ main camera compared to 50MP Sony LYT-818 1/1.28″ sensor in the X200 series.
Recent rumours revealed that the phone will get a new 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT-828 sensor, but it looks like it is not true. The leaker added that the phone will come with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP IMX882 3X telephoto camera. It is also said to come with new optical focus prism module.
To remind you, the X200 and X200 Pro mini pack a similar ultra-wide and telephoto set up. This time, the X300 is said to replace the Pro mini model, so is said to pack a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED screen, feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, come with wireless charging, and comes with IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
We should know more details about the X300 in the coming months, since the launch is expected only in October.
