Samsung showcases the 4GB LPDDR3 RAM at ISSCC

Samsung has been bringing out loads of mobile hardwares lately, and it is being really profitable for them, their Exynos line of processors were a great success and now they have come up with the first 4GB LPDDR3 RAM which two times faster than the current being used in the mobile devices. This new RAM was unveiled at ISSCC expo.

The 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM was manufactured with a 30nm process technology, and will be the hottest selling and probably the most used DRAM this year! This chip consumes same amount of power in LPDDR2 which means that increase in speed but no change in power consumption, it delivers data transmission at around 1.6 GBps. This will be really useful while shooting HD and 3D videos, and will hel pin 3D gaming, also in gesture games which Qualcomm demoed at CES this year.
