Sony has introduced two new home cinema projectors in India — BRAVIA Projector 7 and 9 — as part of its ‘Cinema is Coming Home’ lineup, built for high-end media rooms and home theaters.
Equipped with the XR Processor, both projectors use advanced tech to enhance color, contrast, and sharpness with near-4K results. The Projector 9 reaches 3,400 lumens and the Projector 7 hits 2,200 lumens, making them ideal for rooms with ambient light.

Pricing and Availability
- BRAVIA Projector 7 (VPL-XW5100ES): Rs. 6,50,000
- BRAVIA Projector 9 (VPL-XW8100ES): Rs. 17,00,000
Both projectors will be available from July 15, 2025, via Sony Authorized Distributor channels in India. They come with a 3-year warranty on the main unit and 3 years or 5,000 hours (whichever comes first) on the laser light source.
Additionally, Sony has upgraded the warranty terms for its existing home projector models — VPL-XW5000 and VPL-XW7000 — to match these conditions, effective immediately.
