OnePlus already announced the launch of Nord 5 and Nord CE5 smartphones on July 8th. Today, the company has confirmed some of the specifications of the Nord CE5 model.
Performance
The OnePlus Nord CE5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, and the company claims AnTuTu score of over 1.47 million, which it says is the highest in its class. It will feature LPDDR5X RAM. It will offer 120fps gaming experience in BGMI and COD Mobile.
Battery
The OnePlus Nord CE5 will pack a huge 7,100 mAh battery, a major upgrade compared to 5500mAh in the predecessor. With 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, it can charge from 1% to 100% in 59 minutes. A 10-minute charge promises 6 hours of YouTube playback.
The Battery Health Magic, OnePlus’s exclusive system-level charging management solution, intelligently manages charging behaviour to maintain battery stability and extend its overall lifespan, said the company.
With Bypass Charging, the phone to draw power directly from the charger instead of the battery while gaming, significantly reducing heat generation, lowering battery wear, and extending the battery durability.
Camera
The OnePlus Nord CE5 will retain the 50MP Sony LYT-600 1/1.95″ main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) from the CE4. However, this incorporates the same advanced RAW HDR algorithm and Real Tone exposure technology from the OnePlus 13 series, delivering exceptional clarity, vibrant colors, and natural skin tones, alongside powerful Ultra HDR capture, said OnePlus.
The main camera of Nord CE5 also supports up to 4K 60fps HDR video recording.
Availability
The OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Buds 4, and the OnePlus Nord CE5 will be available for purchase starting July 9 and July 12, respectively, said the company. It will be available from Amazon.in, in addition to OnePlus India online store and offline stores.
