OnePlus Pad 3 Unboxing and First Impressions


OnePlus today introduced the OnePlus Pad 3, the company’s latest flagship tablet, in India and global markets today. Here we have the unboxing and the first impressions of the tablet.

Starting with the display, the tablet has a huge 13.2″ 3.4K LCD screen with up to 900 nits HBM brightness, 144Hz variable refresh rate, and 540Hz touch sampling rate.

It is the first tablet to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for the global markets, and it also has up to 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 and can sync with OnePlus phones for OTP verification messages, cellular data sharing and rich text messages. There is also copy and paste, notification sharing and file sharing between devices.

There is a 8MP front-facing camera on the top bezel. On one side there are volume rockers, and the power button is present on the other side. The USB type-C is port is on the bottom. The tablet has a 5.97mm sleek metal body.

The OnePlus Pad 3 has eight speakers (4 mid-bass units + 4 tweeter ultra-wideband units), and omni bearing sound field technology which intelligently identifies the screen direction and automatically switches between left and right audio channels for a more immersive sound.

The OnePlus Pad 3 has an upgraded keyboard that now has larger, spaced out keycaps that give a PC-style, as well as including a range of useful command keys and a new dedicated AI button that launches Google Gemini. It supports NFC transfers and instant magnetic connection.

The keyboard can also be adjusted to between 110 and 165 degree angles with the built-in kickstand.

The tablet has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash.

You can see the pogo pin connector on the back for magnetic keyboard attachment. The tablet packs a huge 12140mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge up to 18%  in 10 minutes, and 100% in 92 minutes.

The OnePlus Pad 3 also comes in Storm Blue colour. It will be available in India soon from Amazon.in, Flipkart, OnePlus.in, and other platforms, and the pricing will also announced soon.
