Vi partners with vivo for exclusive bundled plan for V50e 5G

vivo launched the V50e smartphone in India back in April. Today, Vi has announced a partnership with vivo India. This collaboration offers Vi users an exclusive bundled plan that combines high-speed 5G connectivity with a 12-month subscription to Vi Movies & TV.

The bundled plan is available to customers who purchase the vivo V50e 5G between April 17 and June 30, 2025. To activate the offer, users need to insert a Vi prepaid SIM into the device and recharge with a specially curated INR 1,197 plan, valid for 84 days.

Plan Inclusions:

The exclusive plan includes:

  • A 12-month subscription to Vi Movies & TV.
  • Access to 17 OTT platforms, such as Jio Hotstar, ZEE5, Sony LIV, Lionsgate Play, and Fancode.
  • Over 350 live TV channels.
  • 3GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day.
Subscription Activation Process:

The Vi Movies & TV subscription is activated in phases:

  • The first 3 months of the subscription are activated after the initial INR 1,197 recharge.
  • The remaining 9 months are credited in three equal installments following the second, third, and fourth recharges of INR 1,197, provided these recharges occur within one year of the smartphone’s purchase.

To ensure continuous enjoyment of the bundled benefits, users must keep their Vi SIM active in the vivo V50e and perform an eligible recharge every 84 days. Both existing and new Vi users are eligible for this offer. The offer is stated to provide savings of up to INR 3,000 annually.

Accessing Vi Movies & TV:

Users can access Vi Movies & TV on their mobile devices by:

  1. Downloading the Vi Movies & TV app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Logging in with their Vi mobile number on the vivo V50e.
  3. Initiating streaming.

Once activated on the mobile device, the subscription can also be accessed on a Smart TV by downloading the Vi Movies & TV app and logging in with the same mobile number.

The partnership aligns with Vi’s 5G rollout strategy, which includes key cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Patna, and Chandigarh, with plans to expand to all 17 circles by August 2025.
