Market Outlook for 2025

CMR expects electric two-wheelers to make up 12–13% of the total two-wheeler market by the end of calendar year 2025.

Divya Maurya, Analyst at CMR, said India’s E2W market is expected to grow strongly due to increasing urban travel needs, government support, and a growing preference for clean transportation.

She noted that rising interest in “smart, connected, and affordable” electric vehicles is encouraging wider use of features like touchscreen displays, digital clusters, and mobile app support.

The increasing role of shared mobility, last-mile deliveries, and easy financing is also expected to boost growth, she added.
