HUAWEI has introduced MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) edition for the global markets as the successor to last year’s model at an event in Berlin. This retains the Tandem OLED PaperMatte display with up to 2,000 nits brightness and features an anti-sparkle and nanoscale anti-glare tech that protects your eyes with a paper-like visual experience.
It has SGS Low Visual Fatigue 2.0 Premium Performance Certification, TÜV Rheinland Reflection-Free Certifications, and TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0 Certification, so it doesn’t cause much eye strain, according to the company. It has a 50MP rear camera, compared to 13MP in the predecessor.
The HUAWEI Glide Keyboard features a 2-in-1 stylus, which can be charged on the keyboard. There are digital creation tools such as GoPaint app with a myriad of true-to-life brushes. The 3D Oil Painting Brush delivers meticulously layered brushstrokes and naturally blended colours, and the True-Colour Brush brings your ideas to life with subtle nuances and textures.
The tablet packs a 10,100mAh battery offering 85% in just 40 minutes and 100% charge in 55 minutes with the 100W SuperCharge fast charging.
