MediaTek has announced the Helio G200, the company’s latest 4G SoC, as the successor to last year’s Helio G100 chip. This uses the same TSMC’s advanced 6nm (N6) chip production process.
It has ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked up to 2.2GHz and six power efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz and comes with faster 1.1GHz Arm Mali-G57-class GPU offering 10% improvement in single-core graphics processing.
It adds new 12‑bit DCG camera support for video HDR capture. MediaTek said that it has collaborated with camera application developers to reduce power consumption by up to 20%. Other specifications are similar.

TECNO has confirmed that it will be the first to use the Helio G200 chip in its TECNO SPARK 40 Pro+ smartphone in the SPARK 40 series when it launches globally in July.
It has scored 470,000 on AnTuTu, offering a 10% performance uplift compared to the previous generation, said the company. It adds that the phone will offer 1.5K super-resolution rendering — the strongest visual configuration in its price range.
