Meizu Note 16 Pro with 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 6200mAh battery, IP66+IP68 ratings and Note 16 announced


Meizu has introduced Note 16 and Note 16 Pro smartphones in China, after teasers. The Note 16 Pro packs a 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen 1.45mm ultra-narrow size bezels. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 12GB of visual RAM and 4466 mm² VC Liquid Cooling system.

The phone is just 6.75mm thick, and is equipped with Meizu’s first equal-depth four-curved 3D back cover and an extra-large screen R corner. In addition, the Meizu Note 16 Pro adopts the “anti-collision beam” structural design and “safety airbag” design of the mobile phone, and also supports IP66+IP68 dust and water resistance.

The phone has 1.8 meter four-corner and six-sided drop protection and 2 meter 36-hour waterproof test, becoming the industry’s first TÜV SÜD “triple-proof quality” certified mobile phone, according to the company. It packs a 6200mAh battery with 80W supercharger. It comes in loud White, Light Boat Blue and Star Chaser Gray colours.

The Meizu Note 16 has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen, uses the Titan Shield architecture, has IP65 certification for dust and water resistance, and has passed the 1.5 meter drop test.

It is powered by UNISOC T8200 processor and packs a 6600 mAh battery with supports for 40W wired charging, and this also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes in Snow Jade White, Rock Black and Red colours.

Both the phones feature an AI key that is customizable. These pack a 50MP main camera along with a secondary camera and a 8MP front camera.
