Sonos Arc Ultra Dolby Atmos soundbar, Sub 4 wireless subwoofer and Era 100 Pro speaker launched in India

Sonos has launched three new products in India — the Arc Ultra soundbar, Sub 4 subwoofer, and Era 100 Pro speaker — built for both home use and professional audio setups.

Sonos Arc Ultra

The Arc Ultra soundbar features a sleek, curved design with a matte finish, perfect for large TVs. It comes with 14 custom drivers, including a Sound Motion woofer and tweeters with waveguides, delivering a 9.1.4 spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos. Trueplay tuning, available for iOS and Android, adjusts the sound for any room.

The new center channel improves vocal clarity, and the Speech Enhancement feature allows users to fine-tune dialogue through the Sonos app. Sonos collaborated with film industry professionals, including Chris Jenkins and Onnalee Blank, to fine-tune the Arc Ultra, ensuring a premium Dolby Atmos experience tailored for home use.

The soundbar offers HDMI eARC connectivity and can be controlled using a TV remote, the Sonos app, Sonos Voice Control, or Amazon Alexa. It also supports Bluetooth line-in, and the touch controls are cleverly hidden for a sleek, minimalist design. The design uses more screws and fewer adhesives, halogen-free materials, and reduces idle power consumption by 20% compared to the original Arc. Its packaging is recyclable and 18% smaller for efficient shipping.

Sonos Sub 4

The Sub 4 subwoofer delivers powerful bass with dual inward-facing woofers that cancel distortion, ensuring clear sound without any buzzing or rattling. The Sub 4 also boasts improved processing power, increased memory, and better Wi-Fi connectivity for a reliable audio experience.

It maintains a similar design to its predecessor, but now comes with a refreshed matte finish in black or white. Sonos noted that the Sub 4 uses 50% less idle power than its previous model.

The Era 100 Pro speaker is built for professional setups, delivering clear, high-quality sound with strong bass performance. It features the same acoustic design as the Era 100. The speaker uses a single cable for both power and data, supporting PoE+ and standard PoE for quick and reliable connectivity.

The Era 100 Pro can be integrated into larger systems through Sonos’ Zones feature, ensuring seamless audio across spaces. It also supports professional-grade mounts (sold separately), offering 360-degree rotation, 30-degree tilt, and a secure safety attachment for reliable installation.
