Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 could be the thinnest foldable phone


Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold7 smartphone later this year. Earlier rumors revealed that the phone will be 4.5mm unfolded and 9mm folded. According to ICE CAT (@UniverseIce), this is not the true thickness.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be just 3.9mm unfolded and, 8.9mm folded, making it the thinnest foldable phone at the launch. The OPPO Find N5 was introduced earlier this has year as the thinnest foldable phone at 4.21mm sleek design unfolded, and when folded the thickness is 8.93mm.

It is expected to retain the 4400mAh battery, but get a faster 45W fast wired charging compared to 25W in the Z Fold6. Based on earlier rumours, the phone will get a new S Pen with a thicker tip, making writing and drawing on the folding screen easier and more comfortable.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is said to pack a 4300mAh battery compared to 4300mAh battery in the predecessor.   Furthermore, the basic version of the future Galaxy S26 series is also reported to continue the trend of prioritizing a thin design.

We should know more details including detailed specifications of the phone in the coming months since the phone is expected only in July.
