moto g56 5G with 6.72″ 120Hz FHD+ display, Dimensity 7060, IP69 ratings, 5200mAh battery surfaces


moto g56 5G spec sheet along with an image has surfaced ahead of launch, thanks to @evleaks. This reveals several upgrades compared to last year’s moto g55 5G including IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The phone is said to retain a 120Hz LCD screen, but it will be slightly bigger at 6.72-inch. It is also said to get a new MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC, an overclocked version of Dimensity 7025 in the predecessor. This is also said to get an improved 32MP front camera and a slightly bigger 5200mAh battery.

The moto g56 5G will come in Pantone Black Oyster, Patone Gray Mist, Pantone Dazzling Blue, and Pantone Dill colours.

According to rumours, the phone will be priced at 250 Euros (USD 283 / Rs. 23,880 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model, same as the predecessor. The phone is expected to be introduced soon, along with the moto G86 5G, but it is doubtful if the g56 will launch in India since the company did not launch the moto g55 in the country.
