CMF Phone 2 Pro with 6.77″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300 Pro launched in India starting at Rs. 18,999


CMF just launched the CMF Phone 2 Pro, the second phone under the CMF by Nothing brand, as it had promised. The phone has a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screen with up to 3000 nits peak brightness, which is a 50% increased compared to the predecessor.

It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC that promises 10% faster CPU and 5% faster CPU compared to the Dimensity 7300 processor in the CMF Phone 1. Nothing said that the chip will use 6th generation NPU that will offer 4.8 TOPS AI performance, 120 fps gaming in BGMI, 53% improvements in network and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM.

This even has liquid cooling system and graphite material to the front and
back of the device.

It runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.2. The company has promised 3 Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches.  This also comes with Essential Space, an AI-powered hub for note-taking, ideas, and inspirations which was introduced first in the Nothing Phone (3a) series.

You can press the Essential Key to capture and send content to Essential Space, long-press to record a voice note, and double-tap to head straight to all your saved content.

The camera has also seen an upgrade with a 50MP main camera with a bigger 1/1.57″ sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera with s 6 stacked lenses offering up to 20x digital zoom.

The phone has an aluminum camera deco, stainless steel screws for the replaceable back cover. This time, you can also add fish eye and macro lenses with the universal back cover, in addition to Wallet and stand and Lanyard that are available separately.

It comes in White, Black, Orange and Light Green colours. Black and Light Green are crafted with a glass-like back that mimics a frosted glass texture and is bordered with a metallic frame. Orange has a metallic sheen. The phone has become slimmer at 7.8mm and also weighs less at 185g compared to the Phone 1.

The phone still retains a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, which can charge up to 50% in 20 minutes. This time, it also comes with a charger in the box and a phone case in India. The battery capacity stays above 90% even after 1200 charging cycles, says the company.

Availability and pricing

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 20,999. The phone will be available from Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Croma and Vijay sales starting from May 5th.
