Western Digital has launched the WD_BLACK SN7100 NVMe SSD in India, designed for mainstream gamers. Built with SanDisk’s latest TLC 3D NAND technology, the drive offers high performance for modern gaming needs.
It delivers read speeds of up to 7,250MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,900MB/s on the 1TB and 2TB models — offering up to 35% better performance compared to the previous generation.
Available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, the WD_BLACK SN7100 provides ample space for growing game libraries, updates, and downloadable content. The 4TB variant is especially suited for users who need extensive storage.
Designed for laptops and gaming handhelds, the SSD offers up to 100% improved power efficiency at peak speeds over the previous version. The 4TB model is rated for up to 1,200 terabytes written (TBW), making it ideal for tasks such as gameplay streaming, speedrun captures, and frequent data write/delete cycles in game development.
