Lumio Vision 7 and Vision 9 QLED TVs with Dolby Vision, 30W speakers, Dolby Atmos teased ahead of launch

Lumio Vision smart TVs from Circuit House Technologies have already been confirmed to launch in India on April 10th. Today, the company has revealed the details about the picture and audio quality of the QLED TVs.

The smart TVs promise an immersive viewing experience with the Vision 7 and Vision 9 models, aiming to elevate home entertainment to new heights.

Lumio Vision 9

The Lumio Vision 9 is positioned as the premium offering, featuring a Blue Mini-LED backlight. This technology allows for more precise control over brightness and contrast, resulting in deeper blacks and brighter highlights. It boasts a peak brightness of 900 nits, ensuring vivid visuals even in well-lit environments.

Lumio emphasizes the Premium QLED technology in the Vision 9, which combines the Blue Mini-LED with a Dedicated Quantum Dot Layer. This layer enhances color accuracy and vibrancy, allowing for a wider color gamut. Specifically, the Vision 9 covers 115% of the DCI-P3 color space, ensuring cinematic color reproduction.

Color accuracy is also a key feature, with Lumio claiming a 1.44 ΔE, indicating highly accurate color representation. Furthermore, the Vision 9 features local dimming with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, delivering exceptional detail and depth.

Lumio Vision 7

The Lumio Vision 7, while positioned slightly below the Vision 9, still promises a compelling viewing experience. It utilizes a Blue LED backlight and achieves a brightness of 400 nits.

Like the Vision 9, the Vision 7 also incorporates Premium QLED technology, featuring a Dedicated Quantum Dot Layer. It covers 110% of the DCI-P3 color space and boasts a color accuracy of 1.08 ΔE, indicating impressive color fidelity.

The company promises better colour gamut and colour accuracy compared to Sony TVs.

Both the Vision 7 and Vision 9 support Dolby Vision, a high dynamic range (HDR) format that enhances contrast and color, further contributing to a more immersive viewing experience.

The Lumio TVs incorporates an audio system designated as “Act III Sound.”  These will be equipped with 30W speakers and utilize a quad-driver setup that include two full-range drivers and two tweeters.

The system supports 24-bit audio processing with a sampling rate of 88.2 kHz. The speakers are housed within a cavity that is stated to be 150% larger than a standard speaker cavity.

The TVs include eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) support, allowing for higher-bandwidth audio transmission via HDMI. It will also feature Bluetooth Out, enabling wireless audio transmission to compatible devices.

Additionally, there is support for 300 Ω impedance through a 3.5mm output, suggesting compatibility with higher-impedance headphones or audio equipment. The system incorporates Dolby Atmos and also includes “DGS audio”.

Lumio introduces TLDR, a user interface designed to simplify content discovery and access. It focuses on two popular entertainment categories: Music and Sport, bringing them together in a unified dashboard. Lumio emphasizes a “zero friction” experience, aiming to make navigating and enjoying content effortless.

The company has partnered with Dixon technologies for the manufacturing of the devices, and will sell the TVs through Amazon India.
