Yahoo launches Group Messaging app Hub for Android


Yahoo has launched a new Group Messaging app, Hub for Android. This would let the users send text messages and have group conversations over Wi-Fi or using your data connection from their Android phone to other phones or users with Hub app for free. You can also add participants to any conversation thread just by adding their mobile phone numbers.

Download Hub for Android from the Android Market (Android 2.1 and above) for free. It is still in Beta and currently available only to users with an US SIM card and a text plan and can send messages only to select countries including, Canada, Indonesia, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, United States and Vietnam. SMS recipients might be charged by their carriers.
