realme just launched the realme GT 7 Pro smartphone at an event in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO Eco² OLED Plus micro-curved screen from Samsung Display offering industry’s highest global maximum brightness of 2000 nits, and the peak brightness is 6000 nits. There is HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision features.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, making it the first in India with the chip. The phone up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It has, 11480mm² Ice Berg dual VC cooling with 30% better heat transfer.
It packs a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX906, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto sensor that uses AI Zoom Ultra Clarity self-developed feature that boosts clarity in telephoto shots. There is also underwater camera mode.
The phone runs Android 15-based realme UI 6.0, and the company promises 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates for the phone. There are IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone has Mars-inspired design that honors humanity’s enduring spirit of exploration. The back cover texture seamlessly blends with the Mars landscape, said the company.
The phone packs a huge 5800mAh silicon-carbon anode battery, and comes with 120W fast speed charging for 50% charge in 11 minutes, and 100% in 30 minutes.

The realme GT 7 Pro comes in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey colours and is priced at Rs. 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 16GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 65,999.
