vivo X200 and X200 Pro smartphones go global


vivo just introduced the X200 and X200 Pro smartphones for the global markets starting from Malaysia, after the phone was introduced in China last month. The vivo X200 mini is not releasing globally.

The X200 has a 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz LTPS screen, and the X200 Pro has a 6.78″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, uses 8T LTPO technology. These pack a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The phones are powered by Dimensity 9400 SoC, has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phones run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, and have IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The phones pack a vivo x Sony LYT-818 1/1.28″ sensor with T* coating, and is manufactured using 22nm process technology. It has native HDR effects for multiple focal lengths, with a maximum increase of 400% in dynamic range, 4K backlit portrait video, 4K 60fps Dolby Vision shooting, 4K 120fps slow-motion shooting, and 4K 60fps 10Bit log shooting at full focal lengths.

The X200 Pro uses the 200MP ISOCELL HP9 sensor co-developed with Samsung, same as the X100 Ultra. The periscope camera is equipped with a 1/1.4″ sensor, featuring an f/2.67 aperture and a 85mm equivalent focal length. It offers up to 3.7x optical zoom and 20x magnification in telephoto macro mode. This uses V3+ chip for 4K HDR cinematic portrait videos.

The vivo X200 has a 50MP IMX882 Zeiss super telephoto camera, Zeiss T* coating, f/2.57 large aperture, and a new large-scale image quality enhancement technology, which makes images clearer at high magnifications above 10X, even though the optical zoom in 3x. The phones feature Zeiss T* coating and APO certification for enhanced clarity and reduced fringing and pack a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera.

The vivo X200 has a 5800mAh battery and the X200 Pro model features a 6000mAh battery, both with 90W fast charging and the Pro model has 30W wireless charging.

The vivo X200 comes in Titanium Grey and Aurora Green colours and is priced at RM 3599 (USD 804 / Rs. 67915 approx.) for the 16GB + 512GB model.

The vivo X200 Pro comes in Titanium Grey and Midnight Black colours and is priced at RM 4699 (USD 1050 / Rs. 88675 approx.) for the 16GB + 512GB model. The phones are available to order in Malaysia, with benefits for X200 Pro orders till November 22nd.
