HUAWEI has introduced the MatePad 11.5″ S, the company’s latest tablet for global markets, at its ‘Innovative Product Launch’ event in Dubai. The tablet comes with the latest HUAWEI Notes app with Note Replay, Color change with lasso, Color Capture and Instant Shape as well as GoPaint apps .
The tablet has 2.8K 30 Hz to 144 Hz variable refresh rate LCD screen with 3:2 aspect ratio, and also comes with New-generation PaperMatte Display that has paper-like display effects with nanoscale anti-glare etching technology, which eliminates 99% of light interference, according to the company.
It has an unibody aluminium finish, and is just 6.2 mm thick. The tablet runs HarmonyOS 4.2, comes in quad speakers, and packs a 8800 mAh battery. Even though the processor has not been mentioned, those who got hands-on time with the device say that it uses a processor that is similar to Kirin 9000S, but with lower prime core clock speed.
The tablet supports third-generation M-Pencil stylus that has nanoscale texture design for unique micro-vibration. The tablet also seamlessly integrates with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, offering stable connections and low latency powered by NearLink wireless communications technology.

The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5″ S comes in Space Grey, Silver Frost, and Violet colours and is priced starting at 399 Euros (USD 428 / Rs. 35,790 approx.) for the PaperMatte display edition.
The standard MatePad 11.5″ S along with the keyboard HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard costs 449 Euros (USD 482 / Rs. 40,270 approx.) and the MatePad 11.5″ S PaperMatte display edition with the Smart Magnetic Keyboard costs 499 Euros (USD 535 / Rs. 44,755 approx.). It will roll out starting from Europe soon.
