OPPO K12 with 6.7″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, up to 12GB RAM, 5500mAh battery announced

OPPO has introduced the K12, the company’s latest smartphone in the K series as it had promised. It has similar specifications as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 which was launched in India a few weeks back.

The company has highlighted anti-fall diamond structure with swiss SGS Gold Label Five-Star Fall Resistance Certification.

Even though the phone retains 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 4192mm² super large liquid-cooled VC heat sink, and the total heat dissipation area of 15277mm².

The phone also retains 50MP main camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, a 16MP front camera and a 5500mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

However, the OPPO phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM with up to 12GB virtual RAM and up to 512GB storage. This also comes with NFC support, which the Nord CE 4 lacks.

Pricing and availability

The OPPO K12 is priced at 1799 yuan (USD 248 / Rs. 20,680 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model, 1999 yuan (USD 275 / Rs. 22,980 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB version and the top-end 12GB + 512GB version costs 2499 yuan (USD 345 / Rs. 28,730 approx.). The phone is now available to order and will go on sale in China starting from April 29th.
